Well I guess its time to close this one and I thank you all for your input. Its funny how maybe first thoughts are often right. When I conceived idea of tour for women in Paris,I thought of grandes ecoles straight away as so feminine (even if a bit of a floral and doily 3D!) but then I stressed "oh no fridge, no TV, uphill walk, not St Germain" it is a stretch on my advance budget as i'd like to be in garden building, not the main one with reception as I believe rooms nicer and bigger..any thoughts on this as rooms in main wing are more budget friendly. Those who have stayed there what do you think?.. Any more brunch suggestions for Marais? Anyone done Marriage Freres? Budget around 20E. Many thanks from 1 of the few Aussies on this forum
