Okay,
So I have contacted the hotel and they have availabliity for a double with a river view on my dates in May....now, does anybody have a suggestion on a specific room number to request. Rooms that you have loved and/or rooms to specifically avoid? Love this web-site!! I wish I would have found it years ago!!!
Oh Ya, while I have your attention...What's my best method (and $) of transportation from the airport to the hotel? My flight gets in around 11am on a week day. Thanks again!!

Thanks Francophile,
You seem to be very in the know about Paris. My husband and I will be there for three nights and two full days. Any suggested itineraries for that time near our hotel? Thanks so much!!

Thanks. For two days if you like museums I suggest checking out the Musee de Cluny which is dedicated to the Middle Ages and the Musee d' Orsay that features art and sculptures. Also nearby the Orsay is the Musee Rodin. The Orsay's impressionist paintings are a highlight. The Marais, just a short walk across the river, has some nice museums: Carnavalet, Picasso, Cognacq-Jay, Victor Hugo.
At night (or daytime) you can take a Seine cruise.
Otherwise, just stroll around and enjoy the many nice cafes and restaurants.
Have a nice visit!

Thanks!,
Didn't reserve my room yet, so what other hotels do you suggest? A good friend of mine stayed at the hotel Notre Dame, or something like that and loved it. I know there are a few 'Notre Dame' hotels. Which is the best one?
Thanks Francophile, I like your suggestions. How about nice places for the evening?

Yep,
I think as long as it's not dirty I am okay with it. I'm not going to be spending a lot of time in my room. I am still going to check out the 'Notre Dame' hotels. I just have to figure out which one is which!

Hi seeksocean, I'm not a big nighttime person. But I am sure others here can suggest nice itineraries.
About the Quai Voltaire it is a 2* as Janis mentioned. Although I haven't stayed there I am willing to bet that it's not a badly maintained hotel, maybe just worn.

I always take a taxi both to and from CDG. Others prefer taking public transportation but I want the easiest, most convenient way of getting into Paris after spending 10+ hours on an airplane. It'll cost about 45 euro one way.
