Hotel du Nil - Paris Accommodation

Hi there!

Just like to know if anyone has stayed or ever heard of this 2-star Hotel du Nil in Paris before? It's off rue du Helder. All reviews are much appreciated!

I'm planning a trip to Paris on the 1st weekend of September with 3 friends and would like to get recommendations for cheap and reasonable hotels offering quad room.

Some hotels offer triple room but not sure if hotels are willing to provide extra bed (at additional price) in the room. Any thoughts?

Appreciate some feedback! Thanks!

Hi Chiquita!
Nice website, really nice rates.
Up in the 9eme, I'd imagine its very quiet. I looked it up on pagesjaunes ... looked OK.

I wonder what the Parisophiles will say! AFter all, you're only staying the weekend...

I've heard of it but just by accident in looking for cheap hotels near the Opera. I don't know anything about it but I read some positive comment somewhere by someone who stayed there (on Virtualtourist.com, I think).

It sounds like you are adults, in which case I think you'd better forget about a hotel putting an extra bed in a room like that for you. They do that for children usually and Paris hotel rooms are very small and usually aren't big enough for that. In a budget hotel, you can be pretty sure the room will be too small and need to find a hotel that quotes a quad rate.

Hi chiqita and SuzieC,

Where can I get more info/website about Hotel du Nil?
I'm looking for hotel in in Opera area too. thanks

well, outside this world of Fodors, on whatever search engine, I think the best phrase is "google" Hotel du Nil Paris... when I did that I got lots of "hits"

Otherwise, you could search hotel 75009 (75009 being the 9th arrond. in Paris and limits the search that way...)

Yes, I did my search on google too. Good luck ministrawberry! And to myself too! :)

Thanks all for the respond.
