Hotel Du Jeu De Paume in Paris

Has anyone stayed here? It is a recommend of Rick Steve's located on the Ile. St. Louis.

Yes, quite a few have stayed at this hotel. Do a "search" in the box above and there will be many comments. Also see www.tripadvisor.com for one comment.

Sorry, I have not stayed here personally but the comments from Fodor's are quite recent.

If you want something less expensive on the Ile St Louis, we liked the Hotel de Lutece.

Bonsoir, traveller~
I typed Jeu de Paume into the little box that says 'search this forum' and many posts came up with just this discussion!
I have stayed at the Lutece which is on the same street. We viewed the hotel, but I like the Lutece better and it is less expensive.
I thought Rick Steves did budget travel?? the Jeu de Paume is not inexpensive..the Ille St-Louis is a wonderful place to stay!

RS appears to be including a few pricey hotels in his 2004 Paris book.

Hello!
The hotel Du Jeu de Paume is a **** hotel, quite expensive. I've never gone to this hotel but I can advise you the hotel Saint Dominique, in the same area, it's a *** hotel, less expensive, very clean and well located.
