Hotel Dolomit in Munich?

Is this place a complete dive? It seems central and it's listed as a budget hotel. (45 euro a night) Is it too ghetto? My average budget for lodging for my 2 month trip is 65 euros per night. Should I up my budget for Munich? And save elsewhere?

I've never stayed in a hotel in Munich in my life, so I can't comment on that. However, the area is quite o.k., in between many turkish shops and close to the computer/electronics quarter. The ghetto is in Neuperlach or Hasenbergl. Downtown, you'll find immigrants, but no "ghetto".

I can't speak to this particular hotel, but did you look at tripadvisor.com?

I just booked Hotel Jedermann, which is in the same area, for 79EU per night for a double (you're looking for a single, right?). This is also over Christmas, so the rates might be lower at other times... not sure.

I know this post is a couple years old but in the spirit of anyone searching the forums for info on this hotel I figured I'd post this hotel review. I've stayed there before and found it accurate.
