Hotel des Ecoles - 6th: Anyone stayed here?

All my searches turned up posts for "Grand des Ecoles" but I'm curious about this 2-star on rue Monsieur le Prince. No reviews on TripAdvisor or Paris.org. Double is 99E or 109E (+ brkfst). Have you stayed there?

Some websites are:

Travelnut, have you tried searching just by using the address? Sometimes I can google things that way. Perhaps they're also known under a different name.

Sorry, I meant my searches on this particular forum only netted "Grandes des Ecoles" threads.

Venere had several comments and overall good ratings. Wondering if anyone on Fodors had stayed there...especially, is it noisy w/ windows cracked open at night? or are the walls thin so you hear the other occupants?..that kind of experience. (Venere had one comment about street noise).

It sounds like a reasonable option for those who've inquired the past couple of months for inexpensive yet central hotels. Most of the frequently-mentioned hotels in the 6th are too expensive for me, and often mention 'small rooms' and 'noisy' for which I see no reason to pay more.

I stayed at the "grandes ecoles" and think it is an awesome option. It is a three star and costs between 90 to 120 Euro for a double (depending on the season). The number of hits for hotel grandes ecoles should indicate to you how popular it is. Look on tripadvisor.com and fodors.com and you will see what great reviews this hotel gets. As an added benefit it is right off of rue moufettard - which according to some people is nicer than rue cler

Dear lexluther, I know about the Grandes des Ecoles, but I'm asking for information about "Hotel des Ecoles" specifically - they are not the same.
Hotel des Ecoles is a 2* on rue Monsieur le Prince in the 6th... but thanks for the good words about the other hotel!
