Hotel de Varenne or Regent's Garden

Looking at advice from all Fodrites, want honest reponse for best choice: Location,Rooms,Bathrooms in that order of importance. Also thinking it might be best for 2 couples next traveling & living together for 1 week after Paris in Normandy area, to seperate for daytime sightseeing & only meet for each dinner as we will have seperate preferences during the day. Would love your thoughts from other couples who traveled together.

The Regent's Garden is a very nice hotel, built by one of the Napoléons for his physician, and it has a pleasant garden and pretty rooms. However, it's about a 15-minute walk from the nearest métro station.

There are a number of good restaurants in the near vicinity of the hotel, as well as a small market.
