Hotel de Turenne, Muguet, Hotel des Grandes Ecoles

We are trying to decide among these three where to stay. Has anyone stayed at any of these? Thanks so much!

We stayed at the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles last October on the reccomendation of a French friend. We thought it was great and a real bargain! <BR>Our room, though small, faced the very pretty courtyard was quiet, and had a new bath. There is a metro stop nearby.

We tried earlier this month to obtain reservations for September at the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles. Eventually, we received a rather garbled e-mail saying that we should ring them back in three months, that their computer system did not enable them to make such far distant reservations. How very Gallic! Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. All seven days of it. All it takes, mon ami, is a ledger book to make advance reservations. When I was in business and we ran up against such attitudes about computers, we used to say "M.I.B."--manual is better.
