Hotel de Luxembourg, Bayeux

Anyone familiar with this hotel?

On AOL, many posters gave the hotel a favorable rating and said the restaurant was very good. I've never stayed there so I can only repeat back what I've read!
Ellen

Haven't stayed there, but great place to see Normandy D Day beaches etc. Frank

Hi Elaine. The AOL travel boards are only available to people who are AOL subscribers. It is one of the only reasons why I remain on AOL!
Ellen

Hi Elaine
You may already have it but have you visited the Bayeaux web site for the lodging? It does list The Grand Hotel Luxembourg,http://www.normandy-tourism.org/gb/t.../index-gb.html It also has a map so that you can see location in relation to the town. We stayed at the Hotel Reine de Mathilde, which was a 2*, rooms were clean and good size and restaurant was nice.
