Hotel de Lutece
 

Has anyone stayed here recently? Looking for a nice but mid range hotel in Paris for October in Paris (not April!). Like being centrally located. Also any suggestions for new things to do? Haven't been since 05 so looking forward to this trip.

We are booked for this hotel in May, and it comes well-recommended by friends who enjoyed staying her last year. Reviews on tripadvisor are positive.

We stayed at Hotel de Lutece in September two years ago and thought it was a great small hotel in a wonderful location.

We liked the Ile St.Louis so much that we returned last September and rented an apt on the Ile around the corner from the Lutece. There are so many great shops and good restaurants on the Ile that you don't have to venture far at night for dinner.

As in most Paris hotels the rooms aren't large but they are very well kept and the bathrooms are lovely.

I prefer locations closer to the Seine as a base. It's also a large hotel and I'd rather be somewhere a bit smaller.

The Lutece is NOT a large hotel and you can't get much closer to the Seine. It is a very nice property in a great location. I think you will be very pleased with this choice.

You can't get much closer to the Seine as Ile St Louis is IN the river! LOL
