Hotel de l'Odeon, Paris
Just booked a one night stay at Hotel de l'Odeon. Has anyone stayed there? Would like to read your critique of the hotel. Thanks in advance.
Phyllis

We stayed at l'Odeon several years ago. It was lovely. We had a room on a higher (?top) floor, with a small patio with a view of the city.

It is on a small street, so be sure to know how to get back when you go out.

Hi...

Thanks so much for the input on Hotel de l'Odeon. It sounds great and we are looking forward to staying there for one night. Thanks again...Phyllis

I agree with the others. We stayed in room 39, which involved taking a tiny elevator to the top floor, getting off and going up a short private flight of stairs to a very small but well appointed room with 2 bathrooms but no view. The decor in the hotel is in the charming category, very cozy and ornate. But the hotel is so compact that it may be claustrophobic even to those used to tight Parisian quarters. Known to fill up fast with repeat visitors, the location is excellent, closeby to St. Sulpice, the Buci market, Rue St. Andre des Arts as well as many other animated streets.

Thanks Ronnie..

I just got confirmation on our room and we are looking forward to it. We reserved a standard french double room as opposed to an upgrade room with a queen bed and larger room. For the money ($180.00/night) we thought the standard would be just fine. Thanks again for all the info. By the way we are also staying in a hotel in Bordeaux called Tulip Inn Bordeaux. It is rated 4****. Has anyone ever stayed there? we are staying there 4 nights. Thanks again....Phyllis
