Are you referring to Les Ateliers de l'Image in St. Remy de Provence?

Or are you referring to Hotel de l'Atelier in Villeneuve lez Avignon? Provence is a big area!

I stayed at de l'Atelier several years ago, and it was a delightful little hotel in a charming little village. It is not fancy but perfectly adequate, and as I remember it, the rooms were larger than, for instance, rooms in comparable Paris hotels. The building has a history, and I've forgotten the exact details, but it was a true "atelier." I don't think you can go wrong, unless you want "luxe over charme"!
