sandra,<BR>We spent 4 very happy days at the Danube during Easter week in room #15 on the 4th floor on the street side. It's a very large twin, particularly for Parisian standards, with the salmon wall paper, salmon floral bedspreads and headboards in matching fabric, 2 antique night tables, decent reading lights, an antique bureau, antique table in the middle of the rm with two side chairs (that served as our dining table) and marble bath with h. dryer, Roger & Gallet toiletries but hand-held shower in the tub with no shower curtain. We really appreciated the room's spaciousness and the care shown to us by all the staff, plus the handy imac with high speed Internet connection in the lobby to check email each day and one day laundry/dry cleaning service. We paid 130 euros, including vat.<BR>Our rm did have its couple of "quirks" that some might find annoying rather than endearing-the radiator produced so much heat (no individual thermostat control) that we had to sleep with the windows open, and the antique (well, some would just say "aging") bureau drawers were hard to open and close, but we found the overall atmosphere at the Danube to be comfortable and cozy, like an old shoe-like staying with family. We would certainly return. It's a solid value for such an elegant street in such a great (and quiet) location, a few blocks from the Seine in the heart of St. Germain.<BR>But we wouldn't chose the Danube during the summer, as it has no a.c.<BR>
