Hotel Dali in Florence

Has anyone ever heard of or stayed at Hotel Dali in Florence? Would you recommend it if you did book a room there?

The price at this one-star hotel is very cheap. Can anyone recommend it? I am trying to decide whether to stay here or spend more and stay at the Casci. (Eva, if you are back, and stayed here I would love to hear about it).

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Orcagna or can you recomend a moderatly priced hotel with a garden or terrace so you can spend time ouside while staying right in the center of the city?<BR>

I have just stayed at a spectacular 12th century palazzo right in the center of Florence, and it had a large balcony - about 30ft by 8ft, with views of the Palazzo Vecchio. There are 4 one bedroom apartments - all full of antiques but with modern facilities, run by a charming woman who has recently moved to Italy from England. It was like stepping into a painting. The website is apparently not yet live but you can see photographs temporarily on www.jamesdavidson.co.uk/florence.htm The owner of the apartments is on [email protected]

So did any of you end up staying at the Hotel Dali? If so, how was it? It got a good review on www.eurocheapo.com, but I haven't found anything about it anywhere else. Thanks!
