Hotel Continental Barcelona question
 

For those of you who have stayed here - it it worth the extra money to get a room with a balcony? Is it noisy at this hotel? It's a 3 star - is this considered "budget"? And finally how are the breakfasts? Would you stay there again....lots of questions. h ope you can help. Thankyou

'budget' is a word like 'diet'--for some since it is less than $200/night it is 'budget' for others since it is more than $25/night it is 'moderate' or even 'expensive'

I would DEFINITELY stay there again. There are many sizes of rooms, I had a TINY one with my daughter which was fine. It was April, in the center of the hotel.. Ib the summer it might be noisy with windows open, but La Rambla is a very noisy street, BUT the perfect place to stay. Breakfast was great, cereals, sweets, some fruit, coffee, tea.. more than adequate.. our room was only 58 Euros for the 2 of us, including breakfast, because it was so small. ask about the different rooms..

Yes it is worth the extra money to get a balcony.<BR>The life of Barcelona passes down Las Ramblas and just to wake in the morning and step out on to the balcony is great.<BR>The balconies are furnished with chairs and a small table and when we stayed at The Continental in March, we went to the dining room to get our breakfast and then took it back to our room and ate breakfast on the balcony.<BR>In the evening, before dinner we would sit out there with a glass of wine just enjoying the scene.<BR>A little noisy, but it did not disturb us.<BR>Go for the balcony!

Hello!<BR>the doubles with the balconies cost 90euro ,whereas the other doubles cost only 66 euro.<BR>I am thinking of reserving the last option (66euro).Can anyone tell me if the other rooms have any window?<BR>Thank you very much!
