Hotel Choices in Bergen, Norway

Can anybody give positive recommendation for hotel, with view, in Bergen, that is fairly reasonable (AFTER ALL, THIS IS NORWAY!)? I am totally confused after reading so many mixed reviews about various hotels!

Thanks - time is running out for our August - September trip; Will be there 8/31 -9/3.

We stayed at a B&B in the old section of Bergen above the historical port. But there was no view. If interested, I believe that I give name and phone number in my trip report; click on my name to find it.

We stayed at the Clarion Hotel Havnekontoret. It does have harbor view, from the rooftop, and is near the Bryggen area. We liked the location, the modern decor and because aside from breakfast, they offer a free light evening meal, which is a big help from expensive Norway.

We stayed at the First Hotel Marin. We had a room overlooking the Bryggen, spacious by Norwegian standards. Nice hotel, in a good position.

I loved my room at the Clarion H. with its harbor view, but I had upgraded. The hotel is very nice, the staff very good and the breakfast fantastic. I didn't partake of the light evening meal but a great bonus.
