Hotel Choice - Bucharest
 

Our first time in Bucharest, we are considering Caro Horoscop, the reviews look great - do you think this is a good location? We like to spend our evenings in the midst of the city.

It is a little far from downtown Bucharest, you would need a car to go everywhere. I would consider something closer to Calea Victoriei, B-dul Regina Elisabeta. It is better, in my opinion, to be able to walk out whenever you want and be in the center of the city and walking distance from the Old Town.

I agree with Aymank. There is no subway stop close-by, just a tram, which might be very crowded, so you will have to rely on cabs.
Since you like to spend the evenings in the city, a more central location would be better.

For cabs local price is around 1.4 lei / km. From Hotel Caro to downtown you wil pay maximum 15 Lei aprox 3 euro. For any advice feel free to contact me. Free of any charge. I am not a guide just a simple romanian citizen.
