ira,
Don't know if you're still wondering (or if you're off on a trip now), but I went in to check the rates at the Bonparte in mid-June.
Since you've so *very* successfully recommended it here to us, I had to see it!
I was intrigued, particularly given its great location (across the st. from Pierre Herme!) between Place St. Germain and Place St. Sulpice. Next to the Rue Jacob, the Rue Bonaparte is my second favorite street in the 6th.
The very friendly desk manager, who spoke perfect English, gave me the '03 tariffs:
doubles:
152-triple
148-deluxe (only 2, one on very top, another ground floor)
137-standard
115-small
singles:
131-large
109-standard
88-small
Looks like they'll give you the '03 rates for March '04 if booked now.
Just wanted you to know your favorite "no longer a secret" place still seems like a very good value, since rates have steadily inched up in the "little slice of heaven" in the last 2 yrs!
