Hotel Bonaparte - Paris

I'm trying to contact the Hotel Bonaparte in Paris by Fax (01 46335767) but it won't go through. Does anyone have a different fax no. or know how I can contact them to book a room.

Thanks.

Try it again w/o the "0".

Hi dian,

The number is

1016868 cheap dial around rate

011 international call from US

33 France

1 46 33 57 67 Phone no. in Paris

You left out the 33, and shouldn't use the 0 when placing a call from outside France.

Ira, Thanks so much for the correct fax number. I already received a reply and they do have a room available. Will be booking it today.

Now it's on to looking for a hotel in St. Remy and Nice.

Thanks again!

Does the Bonaparte have an e-mail address or web site??

Grandmere1 Feb 13th, 2005 05:35 PM

As I understand it, no.

Hi aliska,

Mme Dumas still uses a quill pen and parchment. :)

Actually, they are computerized. I think that she just doesn't want to bother with lots and lots of emails.

The idea is, as in many small European hotels, that people who bother to FAX are more likely to reserve.

IRA:
Could you please explain that "dial around rate" number you added in front of the Bonaparte's phone #?

Travelnut Mar 22nd, 2005 05:32 AM

I'm not Ira, but most major communications systems offer a 'cheap' long distance method that connects you for less $$ per minute. So to reach that connection, you first dial the code, which Ira provided. Then you complete the normal dialing sequence. Your normal phone bill will reflect the l/d charges at the cheaper rate rather than at whatever default l/d service you have tied to your phone service.

Travelnut has it right.

Thanks. I get online billing w/ AT&T, so there is no "bill". I'll have to go to their website and check it out.
