Hotel Bonaparte is booked need options

Hello,
I was planning to book Hotel Bonaparte in Latin Quarter based on good reviews by Fodorites. Unfortunatrly, it is sold out when I need it. Any alternatives in the Latin Quarter or St Germain under 110 euros per night. I am looking for a place that is not noisy at night and have air conditioner.

Thanks

Did you try Hotel Monge? I am staying there for the first time in September so no firsthand experience now, but it gets great reviews here and TripAdvisor and the price is right for you. And it has air conditioning.

Usually Paris weather is quite pleasant in September.I dont think that you need AC, however, you need a very ligh jacket. The weather in Paris is changeable, you never know what you get..
Bon Voyage, two years ago i stayed at the Bonaparte also, however last year I was lucky to have a reservation with Hotel Des Grandes Ecoles, just loved it.

It's difficult enough to find a double for 110€ in those popular areas, let alone with a/c...

If you don't mind going outward a bit (still in the 6th), look at Hotel Atelier Montparnasse (115€ summer promo)

My brother and sister-in-law recommended Hotel Europe Ste Severin. It's in the Latin Quarter.

When are you going?

The lovely 3* hotel Regent has a summer special right now starting at 90 euro. The A/C works well. I stayed there 11 nights last summer during 90 F days.

I sure wish I could grab it!

Résidence Monge mentioned above is a good budget choice, yet with air-condition. I have stayed there twice and going again with friends in two weeks. The rate is €95 for a double (+ €6.50 for breakfast per person). They seem to apply the same rates for JUL/AUG as the rest of the years although JUL/AUG is usully a mid season for Paris. €95 is a shower only room. With bath and maybe bigger room migh cost €110 - 120. If you are afraid of noise, request a room in the back (you might get a view of the Arena of Lutece behind the hotel).

It may get hot enough you can never tell nowadays. Besides, you can close the window to block the noise and yet not to feel too warm with air-con.

dima I have just posted with the site for the Hotel des Mines which gets good reviews. I haven't been there but it looks great! See my post above yours. :)

Make sure you request an air-conditioned room at Hotel des Mines; I don't think all rooms have it.

Good luck! I just spent 8.5 hours trying to book a nice room at a reasonable price. I ended up paying 233 euros.

Try LaVarenne amd Hotel Des Grandes Ecoles. They had a room or 2 yesterday, but cost more than 110. Some hotels farther from the city center also had rooms.

Check www.parisby.com, venere.com, and http://www.discountcityhotels.net/pa...y-location.asp.

In my last post, I neglected to say that I was booking for September, which is a popular time in Paris.

If you are going sooner than that you may have better luck. I noticed that a lot of hotels had summer specials and lower rates than September.

Last September we were really glad to have A/C in the room. Hotel Minerve in the Latin Quarter was were we stayed, and have on several occasions. www.hotel-paris-minerve.com

My girlfriend just stayed at Hotel Monge last week on my recommendation from here on Fodor's. She liked it very much. Only drawback was that the nearest Metro lines weren't direct connections to much else.
