Hotel Bonaparte

Hey everyone - esp. Ira - I have heard much about this hotel (and Ira recommended it to me on another thread), but I can't find a picture of it anywhere online... I know they don't have a website, but does anyone have pictures? Inside or out? Or can describe it? Thanks!!

Hi cindy,

It is not at all fancy, but it is pleasantly decorated, in a very good location, and the staff is quite helpful.

Aside from not having a web site, I don't think they participate on any booking sites, either, so I don't think you'll find a photo of it anywhere online. The only places that list it which I've seen online give only an address and phone numbers, in terms of a general listing of all rated hotels in an area (such as france-hotel-guide.com)

If you go to http://paris.cityvox.com and click on accommodations, then look for 2* in the 6th, Hotel Bonaparte is shown. The photo is of the sitting room off the lobby and that door leads to the ground floor room. (I got a tour when I stayed there). Unfortunately, there is no photo of a room but they are very nice. Nothing fancy, just a very comfortable place to stay.

Hi, cindyNYC - I stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte 3 nights from Feb 28th thru March 3rd, 2004. I have photos both inside and out. The hotel is not fancy, but comfortable. Room number 13 is quite charming. The location is excellent, with shops and restaurants all around. I moved to a smaller single room after the first night, and it was not worthy of a photo.

All in all, I would stay there again (even over Hotel du Lys).

Please provide an e-mail if the photos would be of value to you.

For the outside picture, go to http://www.pagesjaunes.fr and enter the address. You will be able to get a photo of the outside and the street (at least this works for most Paris addresses).
