Hotel Belevedere Taormina Sicily
 

I would like to make reservations at this hotel but cannot find a fax number or website...maybe I have the spelling wrong.

I stayed there and liked it very much. It's very close to the Taormina Public Gardens, and within walking distance of the bus depot on Via Pirandello. It serves only buffet breakfast and an optional (extra cost) light lunch poolside during the summer. Try to get a room view a sea view. Owner Claude Pecaut is very personable and will reply promptly to e-mail.

We also stayed here two years ago, both in a room with a view and balcony, and on another occasion without...You definately want a view, it was so much nicer. The people who run this place are very nice and helpful...the lunches at the pool were some of the best food we ate in Sicily
Gac: were you amazed at how many cars they could get in there parking area (14 one time !)

Susanna: the folks at the hotel have perfected the art of parking cars in their lot with only millimeters of space in-between, and it's harrowing to watch, if it involves your own car!

Gac: that is why one should always buy the car insurance in Italy...I have never returned a car in exactly the same shape that I took it.
