Hotel Beacci Tornabuoni in Florence
Has anyone stayed here recently? sounds like a great central location and romantic roof top terrace. We'll be going in May and I want to know if it's worth 235 euros per night.

Right here on the Fodors.com web site - - on Rants'n'Raves (click on http://www.fodors.com/miniguides/mgr...on=florence@63 or on "Hotels" at the top of any page), you can find the personal comments of 26 people. I think that this is more than any other hotel in Florence in the Fodors reviews, and they are overwhelmingly favorable. Eight of them are from the past 12 months (one from the past month), and two of the eight include their e-mail addresses.

book it! It is so nice. the rooftop terrace makes it so special; great location and very nice management. The rooms have classic Tuscan furnishings, don't expect anythign modern. And don't be thrown off my the entrance way,you do need to take the elevator up to reception. You'll be on Via Tornabuoni, a great shopping street; albeit full of well known designers and not quaint itimate shops, but fun nonetheless. I'm in florence every year, so if you need any other assistance, just ask!

The right side of the screen shows a "phantom" post AFTER 10:22. Yet not visible (to me?) in anyway. Where is it?

Whoops - - dyslexic me - - I meant the LEFT column. And still the "response" couny is wrong, as if there is a phantom post.
