hotel Barcelona?

First trip post pandemic planned for Barcelona - would like something well located and excellent, but don't need spa, pools, restaurant...yet hoping for unique and comfortable experience... has anyone stayed in Margot? Is it too "young?"
thanks readers!

Margot House, for me, has a perfect location on the Passeig de Gracia, directly across the street from Casa Batlló. I haven't stayed there (have stayed at the Majestic a block and a half north), but I have friends who have stayed there. It's a great choice.

Thank you Maribel! How was the Majestic by the way?

The Majestic is a wonderful hotel. Now on most days, it’s out of our budget, but we still enjoy going up to their roof top restaurant/lounge La Dolce Vita, for a light meal and fantastic views. It’s especially nice on June 23, to watch the fireworks displays on St. John’s Eve, La Nuit de Sant Joan.

Yes, Maribel! Thanks for your tips - so helpful. I've been checking the Majestic website (and so many others!) for any "deals" - at least it will be nearby so we can check the roof!
