Hotel/B&B in Bath
Looking for a nice, somewhat upscale accomodation for DH and I in Bath, UK for two nights in June. Probably want to keep it to under $300 a night.
I was just going to use points for the Hilton there, but it doesn't get the greatest reviews. |

you are looking at more than £200 a night. You could stay just about anyplace in town for that. Even the Royal Crescent Hotel has doubles for a bit less than £200 per night on a B&B basis . . . . .

Not sure if this is upscale enough but we really enjoyed the Kennard Hotel on Henrietta Street. I think the website is www.kennard.co.uk. Everything was an easy walk over the Putney Bridge. We really loved the hotel's breakfast room, very elegant and the breakfast was lovely. I can't remember exactly what we paid but I'm sure it was under your price range.

Thanks janisj...memory a little fuzzy on spelling tonight...does close count?..lol

We stay at Harington's Hotel, when we stay in Bath, which falls within your price range www.haringtonshotel.co.uk . We like it because it is very centrally located and, important for us, you can reserve a parking place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Queensberry Hotel. It's located just up from the the Assembly Rooms and around the corner from the Circus. So close to all the sights. And consists of several Bath houses joined together. It's a little like living in Bath -- with a bar, restaurant, etc.

I've enjoyed the Abbey Hotel, right in the old town near the baths and the cathedral.

AlReady2Go: Not to worry. I'm not usually in the spelling police (except for "stonehedge" and "Edinborough" which drive me crazy for some reason) :)
I just wanted to mark the difference between Pulteney Bridge (in Bath) and Putney Bridge (in London) |
