Hotel At Frankfurt Airport - Recommendations?

In April we are transiting through Frankfurt Airport (international connection) with an overnight stay and would like recommendations for a hotel conveniently located at, or near, the airport.

We've stayed a couple of times at the Holiday Inn Express in Moerfelden, about a 10-15 minute ride from the airport. We usually pay under 80E by booking in advance. They have shuttles too and from the airport but we normally have our own car so we haven't used their shuttle. They have a good breakfast buffet and there is a decent Italian restaurant a couple of blocks away.

United/Lufthansa put us up one night at the Steigenberger Hotel. I have no idea of its rates. Nothing special, but the room was very comfortable and it did have a nice "wellness" center (pool, sauna, etc.).

Convenient = Sheraton at the airport = expensive.

Mercure Hotel Wings Frankfurt Airport is our "last night" choice when we fly from Frankfurt. All the usual 3* hotel amenities along with a good restaurant and free shuttle to airport.

The Sbahn from the Frankfurt(Main)HBF to the airport is only 11 minutes. The Sbahn from the Frankfurt Hauptwache Sbahn station (near the city center) is only 14 minutes. Either trip only cost 3.80 euros. That opens several options for a quick trip to the airport if you want it.

Hotels near either station can found at hrs.com:

I'm looking for a hotel myself. The Motel One is probably more budget than most people want, but just wanted to make a comment about it: Note that the free shuttle only picks you up from the airport with limited hours, and if you want it to take you there, it's 5 euros per person. Not a big deal, but just something people should be aware of, I think. We're planning to check in, take the subway downtown, come back, sleep and then go to the airport in the morning. To do that requires several trips on the shuttle, which adds to the cost and time involved. I have decided to stay elsewhere - maybe Ibis or maybe Mercure. Steinberger looks nice, too - within walking distance of the river, Sachen?? area on the other side of the river, and the Altstadt, too. I think it's around $155 in early Sept. Of course, if there's a major convention in town (there isn't - I checked), prices will be higher!
