Hotel at Barajas airport
We'll be arriving in Madrid from Segovia in late afternoon. We have a flight to JFK departing at 10:15 am the next day (Delta), meaning that we'll want to arrive at check-in before 7:30. We'll already have spent four nights in Madrid at the start of our 23-night trip. We've made several trips to Spaim
I don't think it's worth it to spend a night in central Madrid, when we'll only have a few hours, and have to wake up around 5 am. Any suggestions for hotels at the airport? We'd prefer 100 euro or a bit less. The main question is about hotels.
I don't see any way of getting from Segovia to Barajas without stopping (by bus or train) in Madrid (a car service would be too expensive). We're flexible about modes of transport.
Thanks for advice -- Steve

I have taken that flight a couple of times, you don't need to be at the airport 3 hours ahead of your flight. 2 hours is more than enough.
While I would not give up a night in Madrid for an airport hotel, check the Hilton at the airport if you are determined to stay there. I didn't check the cost there.
Have a great trip!

I totally agree with joannyc. Don't miss an opportunity of expending a night in Madrid.
If you still want to sleep close to the airport, check "Be Live City Airport Madrid Diana". It's surprisingly good for the price.
Anyways taxi service is not that expensive and you can do both: enjoy the night in the City and sleep near the airport.

Joann and Olga - did you miss this part?
<<We'll already have spent four nights in Madrid at the start of our 23-night trip. We've made several trips to Spai[n]>>
To the OP: you could split the difference since you'll be coming back from Segovia in the afternoon and just stay somewhere in the northeastern area of Madrid = shorter ride to the airport, short metro ride to town for one last night.

Nope, BigRuss, didn't miss that at all.
I wouldn't ever give up extra time In Madrid and they don't need to arrive so early at the airport. Also, it only takes 30 minutes or so to get to the airport from the Recoletos area which is where I stay.
But, I did provide an airport hotel option as they requested.

Stayed four times at Axor Barajas and once at its Siamese twin, Axor Feria.
Barajas has a restaurant (very good), Feria doesn't. The rooms in both are identical.
We have never used their shuttle service, since we always had a car.
