Hotel around $125/night near Opera

I just discovered this site. Am slightly desperate. Need reasonable/decent hotel within four or five blocks of Opera and Roissey Bus stop. Or Air France stop in Montparnesse. Have stayed near Opera and like area. Have walked to everything form there. How is Montparnesse? Any suggestions? Thanks to all. Miki

One hotel I noticed near the Air France bus stop is Waldorf. It might be cheap enough for you. Check all the usual sites. Here are some:

I was just surfing a couple of months ago and was on tripadvisor.com. Just checking things out for the "halibut" ane there were quite a few hotels at all prices listed close to the opera. Didn't bookmark any..sorry but give it a go.

Don't know anyplace in Opera but I can highly recommend Hotel Riviera, about 2 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe, at about 100 Euros per night.
It is 2 blocks to the Air France bus stop at Arc de Triomphe, the adjacent Metro and RER station, and in a very nice area of town, convenient to everything and good transit.

Hotel Riviera
55, rue des Acacias

In late October last year I paid 50 €, + 5.50 € for a standard continental breakfast tray (deliverd to room or eat in small dining room)

Beautiful part of town, 2 blocks from Arc-de-Triomphe/Etoile (and Metro/RER), 1 block from large FNAC (books, music), 3 blocks from wonderful street food market, commercial stores, restaurants, etc.

This is the Paris of the Parisiens, if you like that.

Staff speaks English.

We just stayed at the Hôtel Langlois
63 Rue Saint Lazare 75000 Tele 33(1) 48 74 78 24. It's near the opera, cost 115 Euro including breakfast and there is a lot of info about it on this forum as well as at trip advisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...de_France.html)
