Hotel Alceste in Selinunte is Closed
 

I had been trying to reach the Hotel Alceste in Selinunte (Sicily) by email without success and finally placed a phone call. This hotel is now closed and will not reopen. How unfortunate. Does have any suggestions for Selinunte area?

How long are you planning to stay in Selinunte? We stayed in an apartment in Selinunte (two bedrooms, pool, but no A/C, about 1/4 mile from beach) which I would strongly recommend. However, I don't think the owner would rent for less than a week. If you're interested, I can give you the owner's e-mail and you can contact him directly.

Some of the apartments can be rented on a daily basis.

There is another 3 star in Selininte on the beach that is very adequate. The name escapes me but you can search under Selininte Marinella to find it.
