hotel Agumar Madrid

Is anyone familiar with this hotel? My Petrabax tour has been cancelled and I'm thinking about a Globus tour for part of my trip. They use this hotel and I am considering staying there before the tour begins.

emiller444,
The 240 room 4 star Agumar is a relatively inexpensive Madrid hotel often used by tour groups, along with its sister the Praga. It's located in the southern end of the city, due east (200 meters) of the Atocha rail station. Not the prettiest, nicest, most salubrious area of the city, thus the special rates.
It's nothing to write home about, but rooms do have marble baths, and you can walk to the Reina Sofía Museum and even the Prado from the hotel.
