Hostels

Hello, I will be traveling by myself through Rome during the first part of January, can anyone reccommend a cheap/decent hostel to stay in? I will be by myself and would like a safe neighborhood that is relatively close to attractions. I have heard of The Bee Hive Hostel, Hotel Colors and the Gulliver House. Which of these would be best in terms of location, general age of people staying at the hostel and safety?

Thanks!

Hi Suzie,

You might have better luck posting your question on Lonely Planet's site, or check the hostel reviews on www.travelpunk.com.

I haven't stayed in any of the places you're looking at, but I heard from friends that Gulliver's House was clean and pretty comfortable.

Cheers.
