Hostel/Hotel/Apartment in Budapest?

I've posted several questions about Rome and Paris and just realized I've done little research for the other part of my upcoming European trip- Budapest. So does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap and safe hotel, hostel or apartment in Budapest for 3 people? I'd prefer a fairly safe neighborhood close to public transport, but location is not the biggest issue- a good price and reputable, safe location are. Any advice will be much appreciated!

How much do you want to spend...I think that will help others know where to send you.

We stayed in Budapest in the spring of 2006. We found this particular B&B to be well located and not a bad price. Public transportation is at the end of a small walkway - very close.

We are looking for something around 25-30 per person, if possible. I know this makes it kind of low end of the range, but that isn't a big deal to us. Thanks!

Been to Budapest many times and you will love it!!!
both suggestions above are in good locations, central in Pest and close to metro.
