Horseback Riding in Ronda?

Hello -
We are looking for a place to ride in or very near Ronda (no car!). Both of us are experienced horse people - we have our own and compete regularly at home, so would like something more exciting than a nose-to-tail walk, but also safe! We were looking at "Picadero The Farm" for a three hour trail ride but emails have come back undeliverable.

Does anyone have experience with this outfit? Or any recommendations?

Gracias!

I used that company for the 3 hour sunrise tour in 2001.

The pamphlet that I have in my photo album has this info:

Picadero "La Granja"
Telf Reserva 666 56 78 11 (my comment... this was a rubber stamped number on the pamphlet)
La Granja - Camino de Los Molinos
Telf 95 287 59 56
Movil 666 66 78 11 (my comment... this is not a typo from above phone number)
Oficina - Plaza de Espana, 3
(Frente al Parador Nacional)

The 3 hour tour was 6000 Ptas at that time, 5 hours was 10,000, 1 day was 15,000 and 2 days was 30,000 Ptas.

We very much enjoyed our ride! Hope you are able to do it, too!

Thank you for the info!

Joannyc - was the farm easy to get to by taxi or walk down from the old part of town?

They picked us up at the hotel and dropped us after our ride.

We had a car so could have driven there but the pick-up/drop-off was part of the reservation that our hotel made.
