Horseback riding around Prague

We are planning a trip to CZ early next year and wanted to know if anyone had found a place to rent horses for a couple hour ride anywhere close to Prague?

I am not sure if you can rent the horses but there was what appeared to be a horse farm (I saw a few people riding) out in Troja between the zoo and the boat stop.

AllPraha.com has a page of riding stables

Thank you so much for the replies. The one thing my daughter and I love to do when we travel is to horseback ride in the countryside. What better way to see the country!

Hello,
I was curious if you ever found a place to ride near Prague that you enjoyed. ??
My husband and I are planning a trip to Prague this coming October and I would love to go horseback riding if possible.

Hi Gallupaway,
We did find a place to ride. It was in the town of Mikulov near the Austrian border. Here is the email address:
Tomáš Hlavenka <[email protected]>. Tomas was very nice and spoke enough English. It is about 2 hrs. 15 minutes from Prague. It's in the wine country. Try the Berchak if it is available. It's very new wine that is still fermenting. It is fizzy and wonderfully fruity. It is high alcohol content so be careful. I liked the red better than the white.

Have a great trip.
