I love Paris in the summer, when it sizzles...

July is the hottest month, and has more rainfall than any other month except May. You can probably get around to all the most significant sights in one (long) day of riding the bus. But if you stop and visit many of them for any length of time, two days isn't enough. Here's another bus tour you may wish to consider:

We took this bus, they have a few different routes so I would get more than one day to take full advantage.

We also experienced rain in Paris in July.

2 day L'Opentour tickets for my daughters - €54. Not seeing them for the next two days except in the evenings - priceless.

Yes, there are four routes:

Grand Tour - 2 hours
Montmartre - Grands Boulevards - 1 hour
Montparnasse - St-Germain - 1 hour
Bastille - Bercy - 1 hour

That's five hours. So it's possible to do it all in one day. If you stop and visit many sights for any length of time, two days isn't enough.

We took this tour on our first trip to Paris for the first 2 days we were there (no we did not ride continuously for 48 hours!) It gave us a great overview of the city and we "hopped off" at some places that we wanted to see and knew that we wouldn't be at them for hours. The other sites that we wanted to spend more time at we went back on our own over the next few days. I would recommend it.
