Honeymoon-Provence hotel suggestions?
We are planning to start our trip with two nights in Paris, then train down to Provence for 6-7 days then three days in Cote d'Azur.
Any suggestions for hotels? In Paris we are looking for a 3-4 star no more than 135 per night. In Provence we are looking for a three star but hoping to spend no more than 100 per night. We are looking for nice rooms with charachter but not too fancy for Provence

Beth- For Paris, do a text search here (3* Paris hotels). Fodorites like the Rue Cler area where there are lots of hotels to chose from. Be forewarned that at this price the rooms will tend to be very small.
For Provence, I think you have to decide in what town you'd like to stay or do you plan on moving around?
On the coast, if you don't care about a pool or beach (you don't say what time of year you're going) I can recommend staying at the Hotel Welcome in Villefranche.

we have seen many hotels between 70-120 in Provence (ARles, Avignon, St Remy, etc) just looking for a recommendation for a honeymoon..In Paris we will have to spend more but know we can find something for under 140...again just looking for recommendation. We are going early may
