Honeymoon in Italy-Rome/Naples/Positano

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon. We have about 14 days and would like to go to Italy. We do not however wish to tour the entire time, and would like to kick back, relax and sunbathe as well. Our possible itinerary calls for Rome, Naples, and Positano. Being that neither of us have ever been to the Amalfi coast, does anyone know if this is what we are looking for and if so possible recommendations on length of stay as well as any hotels or B&B's? Thanks

Hi Michael,
What better place to go then Italy? I suspect you'll get this a lot...but, what about the Cinque Terre? I didn't make it on my first trip, but supposed to be stunning...and I think that it's a lot cheaper than Capri or Portifino.

We just got back from 14 days in italy on our honeymoon. We went to 6 nights Positano, 1 Capri, 3 Ravello and 4 Rome. I needed to rest as well - wedding and jetlag. All places were phenomenal. We stayed in hotels not B & B's. Le Sirenuse and Palazzo Sasso were wonderful.

Michael, When are you going and do you
have a budget range in mind? Positano
can be expensive in high season, but is
a wonderful honeymoon destination.
Given 14 days, I would suggest 3 locations can be done easily--Rome, the
Amalfi coast, and also Tuscany. That will give you a more complete feel for
Italy. Let me know if you need more help
