Honeymoon Ideas

We are looking for honeymoon ideas for October. We are 30 and looking for something not too expensive outside the US.

DON'T. (Just kidding)
You'll be in the off season so prices will be less. What things do you enjoy? IMO Venice is the most romantic city that I've been in.

Marly,
The dollar should remain fairly strong against both the French franc & the Italian lira through this year. How much time do you have? A week? Two? Italy is a good starting point, although so is Paris. If you only have a week to ten days, start in Paris, take the train into Italy. As Art pointed out, you'll be outside of the super-crowds of summer, weather should be more temperate & the views & vistas will be incomparable. Book now for the Hotel Leveque in the 7er of Paris. if you visit Venice, try Locanda Sturion, and if in Florence, try Hotel Aprile.
Best wishes for a wonderful wedding & honeymoon,
Kathy

If it's early October, look into a Greek isle - inexpensive, beautiful, crowds will be minimal.

Hello Marley, I agree with Elvira. I love Italy but Santorini for a honeymoon in Oct. is ahrd to beat.
