Honeymoon hotel in Provence

My stepson and his fiance have asked me for help planning their honeymoon in France and I am without the time right now to do the research I love to do. It has been a while since I traveled to Provence and we rented a house for the family then so I was not really in the luxury hotel mode. Can anyone suggest some options - I think they will be there for 4 nights and do not plan to do too much touring around, so a location in or near a town is good. I am partial to St. Remy and did check out the website Le Chateau des Alpilles. I do not think budget is a huge issue. They will probably take the TGV down from Paris and rent a car. Thanks!

Through the years the most romantic of places I have stayed,
Crillon la Brave
Le Bastide de Marie, outside of Menerbes,
Le Prieure in Villeneuve-Lez-Avignon,
La Colombe D'Or in St Paul de Vence
La Regalido in Fontvielle,
La Riboto de Taven in Les Baux but below the village,
La Bastide de Moustiers in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie

Thank you! You have traveled well! I have read of many of these throughout the years (wish I had stayed there also) ..... it is very helpful to have them in one list.

This place was sooo pretty. It's well situated for visiting all the Cotes du Rhone wineries, too.

A year ago this month we stayed for 5 nights at Domain Le Vallon in Provence and highly recommend it. Stunning place with beautiful breakfasts. Michelle & Fred Vogt are excellent hosts.
Prior to arriving there we stayed at Le Chateau des Alpilles, 5 minutes outside of St. Remy. Very convenient for visiting sites in the area. Wonderful breakfasts, and if possible dine there at least once.

Try the Riboto de Taven, near Les Baux. Another possibility: L'Oustau de Beaumanière, a classic property with a great restaurant. A sister hotel, Le Cabro d'Or, is down in the valley of Les Baux and also very nice.

Yes - great suggestions, thanks. I have had dinner at Riboto de Taven and it truly was some of the best service ever. I am sure it would be wonderful to be a guest there!
