Honeymoon Help! Need a hotel on the Amalfi Coast
 

Can anyone reccommend a nice hotel on the amalfi coast that is reasonably priced? I am on a budget but still want a great hotel for our honeymoon? Any help will be very appreciated

We loved the Villa Rosa in Positano; the view is spectacular, the rooms are bright and airy with private patios where you will be served a continental breakfast. This is not a luxury hotel, but very nice for the price, which, by the way,was a wonderful bargain when we were there 2 yrs. ago at less than $90; however, I've been reading on here that it has gone up considerably, evidently since intro of euro. Check it out on www.karenbrown.com; I don't think it has its own website.

It's listed by Karen Brown under Italy's B and B's, not her book on inns, which isn't exactly accurate in my way of thinking. Whatever! But she does give it a great write up and shows pictures. It is truly charming!

If you want to pay less, look at the Onda Verde on the coast past Positano.

Try Hotel Eden Roc in Positano. It is a very nice/fancy(simple)/family run hotel. Last August we got a front suite( huge balcony) for 300. The view was AMAZING!!! The next nicest in Positano is LeSirenuse and that is dbl. the price of Hotel Eden Roc. My husband and I say when we return we will stay there again.
