HONEYMOON - Almalfi v. Como Need weather advice for Nov

My new husband and I will be traveling in Italy in mid-November. We are trying to decide between Sorrento and Lake Como. Does anyone have weather advice for these two areas? Thank you!

NIL, I love the Lakes but not in Nov.--
chilly and rainy. Definately go south
to Sorrento, Positano, Capri. It may still be a bit chilly but not bad.

Good afternoon, Nil
Sorrento weatherwise be your best choice.
Sorrento average hgh - 62 deg f.
average low - 51 deg f.
average precp - 3.9"
Milano is the closest I could get to
Como. average hgh - 52 deg f.
average low - 33 deg f.
average precp - 4.2"

I can't imagine any place more romantic than the Amalfi coast

I second Kate's message. The Amalfi Coast is the most romantic place in the world. I was there once in late November, and although it poured rain one evening, it was gloriously sunny the next morning. Also, you have the option of taking dozens of excursions: towns up and down the coast, Capri, Ischia, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, Paestum. Como is quiet and lovely, and you could go to Venice from there. Still, I would opt for Amalfi. If you really want to get away from it all, go to Ravello, a village above the town of Amalfi; Positano, however, has more restaurant and accommodations selections. Wherever you decide to stay, you can ride the SITA buses between towns, take a taxi, or in some cases hike.

Congratulations and have a great time.
