honeymoon
 
my fiance and i are thinking about taking our honeymoon to europe. i was thinking of flying into london england. staying in london for around 3 days then taking the eurostar train to paris.visting paris for a few days then renting a car seeing some sights in a few diffrent countries. we are planning on going for 10 days. . We would really like to get into seeing some of the culture in small towns rather than some of the larger cities. we are really interested in history and culture. any tips for traveling and places we should take in would be appreciated

What time of year?

Three days in London, one half day London to Paris, three days in Paris, leaves 3, maybe 4, days tops. I would spend that time in France. You might even want to head out into the countryside immediately on arrival from London and leave your time in Paris to the end.

You'll want to make your lodging reservations outside of Paris as soon as you decide where you want to go. August is THE vacation month for the French. For all of your hotels on this trip, look for A/C.

With 10 days (not including travel time on either end, I hope), you won't realistically be able to visit a "few other countries" after London and Paris. We did a nice trip combining London, then the Loire Valley, the Paris. We had about 12 nights, though - I think we had 4 nights in London, 3 in the Loire Valley, then 4 nights in Paris. If you really want to enjoy the culture in small towns, then skip one of your big cities.

thanks mabye it would be more realistic to fly into paris for a few days then mabye bed and breckfast outside of the big city mabye normady area. thanks.

Taking London (and dreaded Heathrow) out of the plans sounds like a good plan. More relaxed and honeymoon-y.
