Home from Paris!

Hi everyone! Got home from Paris today...my first trip since I was 16 (12 years ago). It was unbelievable :) I will post a trip report when I recover!

Welcome home. Look forward to your trip report. God, to be 28!! :)

Or 48! :))

CAPH52 Feb 24th, 2007 06:36 PM

I'm with you on that one, Robespierre!;)

Glad to hear you had a good trip. Anxious to read your trip report as my daughter and I will be there in just over 4 weeks.

What week will you be going? I'm going last week in March. 24-31. It'll be my first time. Have you used museum passes before?

I am so jealous! I love Paris in February. It is cold and crisp and sometimes rainy, but I love seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkling through the rain or coming out of a warm restaurant into the cool air. (Maybe it is because I am from So Calif and don't get to experience this type of weather, but I am convinced it is the Paris magic)

Welcome home!

artzyjen, we'll be there from the 27th to the 31st. First time for us too. I've just been reading up on the museum passes. You might want to type it into the search box. Seems to be lots of good info. :)

Mimi, I was just thinking about our dinner together with the singing waiters.

Starspinners???

I think you are thinking of the wrong trip...My DD and my friend and I met you last year at some restaurant near your hotel with Piano in it's name. The food was forgettable but they were supposed to have singing waiters, but we were there on the wrong night. You managed to sweet talk the owner and his friend to sing for us.

After we left you, we were stuck on the Metro when it stopped running for the night and had a real adventure trying to get back to our apartment.

LOL, that was a wonderful night. Your beautiful daughter wore her new skirt, your friend and her chatted with the Canadians sitting across from us.
It was in the Marais, "Un Piano sur Le Trottoir." I hope you enjoyed the evening as much as I did. I'm at hotmail, I'd love to hear about the rst of your trip also.
