Holland -
Noordwijkerhout-I'm staying in this town
1.)looking for recommendations of local restuarant / bar that would offer a taste of the Netherlands.
2.) Things to see or do if I have only 1 night free?
Thanks

Well you are not far from the sea at Noordwijk - I can't recommend restaurants there but there are bound to be some good ones around. You could go into Leiden, or maybe to Haarlem from Noordwijkerhout, or along to Zandvoort. What did you have in mind for a night out? Do you have to rely on public transport?
If you go to www.dinnersite.nl you can find restaurants etc in the area. It is available in English.

It depends on what you call “taste of The Netherlands”. As the country has a blend of cultures it is nowadays harder to say what is Dutch.
Here is the website for the area.

But at night there may not be much to do othr than eat and drink.

Villa Duinen is a good restaurant in Noordwijk on the beach. The menu is not entirely traditionally Dutch but there's enough on it to build an authentic Dutch meal.
