Holiday today in London?
 

I tried calling a couple of box offices this morning in London and get messages they are closed, yet it is within their normal hours. I lost track -- is today a bank holiday? Is this the one that also extends through tomorrow (Tuesday)? Are offices likely to be closed both today and tomorrow?

Yes, today and tomorrow are bank holidays because of the Jubilee. One of the days is officially the bank holiday that's usually held at the end of May, which was postponed a bit to extend the Jubilee weekend.

Thanks, Susy. I assumed it must be, but it threw me as I thought it was usually the end of May, not in June. Guess I'll wait till Wednesday to call for my tickets.
