Hiring a driver in Paris

I'd like to hire a driver for a day in Paris to visit the major sites. (Public transportation is not an option because of a disability.) Can someone recommend a good company to use? Thanks.

Hi,
If you look at www.parivision.com they have private drive tours. Can't comment on them, since never have taken one (only the bus version).

You might also check out the folks at ContextParis (www.contextparis.com) who have worked closely with the Scala Reale organization in Rome.

Most pharmacies in France rent wheelchairs or can arrange to find one.

Paris Vision are excellent, if you take their smaller bus, which I believe take 6 to 8 people. Your hotel concierge can put you in touch with them, or you could book them through the web.

The guides are great and informative. I recently wrote in an earlier post, Context Paris are expensive and dis-organized.

Also, some smaller family run hotels have their own driver guides at very reasonable prices. You could e-mail your hotel for details.
