Hiring a car and driver in Cornwall

We will be docking for a day in Falmouth, and would like to see St. Ives, Land's End, St. Michael's Mount and anything else of interest in the area. Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonable driver to hire for the day? Or recommend another good way to get around efficiently? Thank you.

Were you able to find a good driver? We are going in late May and would like to have a driver for a couple of days as we do not relish driving in England. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I wonder if you could identify one through the hotel or B&B where you plan to stay. Owners are usually helpful...

rdj248: It is usually better to start a new thread rather than tagging on to a 4 year old one. Especially one that never got any response in the first place.

But to answer -- every Tourist Information Office in the area will be able to hook you up w/ a driver guide. If you contact the TIO in whichever town you are staying (they all have e-mail) you can make contacts ahead of time.

BTW -- driving in the UK is not difficult as long as you stay out of the major cities.
