Hip Hop Club in Paris
 

I am travelling with my 24 yr. old son to Paris in early October.

Can anyone suggest a fun nightclub in Paris with Euro/Hip Hop music? .... an open mike club would be fantastic for my Berklee College son.

IMHO French music is not always mainstream as expected in the US.

Nouveau Casino on Oberkampf has hip hop nights 4-5 nights a week along with other Brit/indi pop dance nights. They have live music at most of the hip hop nights. Their website has a schedule.

There are a smattering of other clubs that have similar music around Belleville and Menilmontant. Nouveau is one of the major venues though. Admission is cheap and it is not filled with eurotrash and the like.
