Jahlie, Thanks for your report. It is too bad you didn't pick the good restaurants. The variety and the sophistication of spanish cuisine, to me (non-European), is second to none including Italian or French. I also find that home cooked meals in Spain, obviously dependent on the cook, can almost make you believe in miracles (i.e., if you didn't already ).

Lots of great info - I need advice re Gibraltar. We arrive by ferry from Tangier, my husband insists we see Gibraltar -- where can we drive within easy distance for the night??
