Hiking in Connemara and Kerry/Dingle/Beara

We will be in Ireland for two weeks in August. One week in Connemara and one week in Kenmare.

We love to hike - does anyone have any suggestions for favorite hikes in these areas? About 9 miles in one day is our limit, especially if there is significant elevation gain.

There is a walking route called "the Dingle Way" which traverses quite a bit of the peninsula, including Brandon Mtn. which offers beautiful scenic vistas where Brandon Head and Brandon Point overlook Brandon Bay. "Pilgrim Way", another walking route further west on the peninsula connects with several of the ancient ruins which are of interest. You would do well to investigate those. Happy trails!
